Digital Citizenship and Netiquette

What is Digital Citizenship?

Digital Citizenship is the use of technology and its resources in a safe, responsible and legally correct manner. Schools are the responsible party for making sure students use technology appropriately.

What is Netiquette?

Netiquette is the combination of proper etiquette and internet use. This is a major part of digital citizenship skills. Cyberbullying is the new way for bullies to target individuals. It is much easier to hide behind a screen and say hurtful things than it is face-to-face. Remember the GOLDEN RULE, treat others the way you would want to be treated.
